Hey, I’m Dietitian Britt
I’ve been exactly where you are…I was doing everything “right.”
Strength training three to four times a week. Getting in long walks every day. Adding a weekly metcon for good measure. Eating high protein, prioritizing fiber, checking every box I thought I was supposed to.
And still… nothing. The scale wouldn’t move.
I felt fat. Frumpy. Angry. I hated how I looked in photos — honestly, I hated how I looked, period. I called myself fat every single day.
It made me feel like a fraud — someone who claimed to take her health seriously but didn’t look the part.
I was miserable. Absolutely miserable.
But 2020 was my breaking point.
I gained twenty pounds in under a month and when I went to my doctor, she told me I was “fine.” Spoiler Alert— I wasn’t fine
From 2020 through 2024, I tried to fix it. I lifted, tracked (on and off), walked, hydrated, ate high-protein, dove deep into metabolism research, even ran tests on myself — and still kept spinning my wheels. I was doing everything right, yet nothing was changing.
Then, in April 2025, something clicked.
I got my HTMA test results back and started connecting dots between what was happening inside my body, what I was doing day to day, and how I was thinking about all of it.That’s when it hit me: lasting change isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about understanding what’s really going on underneath it all.
And that realization is what led to what I now call the 3B Framework — Biology, Behaviors, and Beliefs.
Here is what I changed:
I started eating to support my metabolic type — I’m a slow type one and that alone changed so much.
For the first time, I could see what my body actually needed. I learned how to track in a way that supported me instead of consuming me. It wasn’t obsessive or punishing anymore; it became a tool for awareness and consistency.
I started paying attention to more than just the numbers — things like stress, energy, recovery, and how my body responded to food and training. I realized it wasn’t about doing more — it was about doing the right things, for me.
I lost 22 pounds in six months
My clothes are loose, my body feels strong, and I actually love how I look. And the best part?
I’m dieting, but I don’t feel like I’m dieting. I feel in control, confident, and completely at home in my own body.
That’s exactly what I help my clients do now inside Private Coaching — build results that finally stick by aligning their biology, behaviors, and beliefs.
